Hiroki Kishimoto was born in 1982 in Nagoya city, Aichi prefecture. He won the international “TAKIFUJI” art award in 2006. The next year, his work was selected for inclusion for the first time in the 62nd Spring In-ten Exhibition and the 92nd In-ten Exhibition.  In 2008, he won a prize for his work featured in the 14th Kacho-ga (Bird and Flower) Exhibition at Shohaku Art Museum. The same year, he also won a prize for his work displayed in the 4th Seison Maeda Memorial, held in Gifu prefecture. Kishimoto later completed his master’s degree at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts in 2009. He fostered young artists as a part time lecturer at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts from 2013 to 2016. Hiroki Kishimoto held his solo exhibition at TOBU Department Store in Ikebukuro in 2014. The next year, he received honorable mention for his work in the 3rd Ohka-sho, Annual Sakura Exhibition held at Sato Sakura Art Museum in Tokyo. Currently, he is an Inyuu rank member of Japan Art Institute (Nihon Bijutsuin).
