Kazuyuki Suto was born in 1981 in Gunma prefecture. In 2005, he graduated from the department of painting, faculty of fine arts, at Tama Art University. In the next year, his work was selected for inclusion for the first time in both the 61st Spring In-ten Exhibition and the 91st In-ten Exhibition. In 2006 and 2008, he received honorable mention at the Seison Maeda Memorial. In 2009, he won the Chairman Award of Japan Rehabilitation Aid Association for the work he entered for “Yuuga no Kai”, an exhibition of young Nihonga artists. In 2010, he completed his PhD at the graduate school of fine arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. He received the Obutsudan no Hasegawa Special Award at the Doctorate Examination Exhibition. In the same year, he held his solo exhibition at TOBU Department Store in Ikebukuro. In 2013 and 2017, he entered his works in Ohka-sho, Annual Sakura Exhibition held at Sato Sakura Art Museum in Tokyo. Currently, he is an Inyuu rank member of Japan Art Institute (Nihon Bijutsuin) and a part-time lecturer at Keiko University.
