Masaharu Fujishiro

Masaharu Fujishiro was born in 1983 in Aichi prefecture. In 2005, he graduated from the Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts undergraduate course of art.  In the same year, he was chosen as the “15th Scholarship Student” of Sato International Cultural Scholarship Foundation, and in the following year of 2006, he presented his work in the 15th Scholarship Student Art Exhibition held at Sato Museum.  Also in 2006, his work in the 12th Kacho-ga (Flower & Bird) Exhibition at Shohaku Art Museum received the Excellence Award. He was selected for the 61st Spring In-ten Exhibition and 91st In-ten Exhibition. In 2007, he completed his master’s degree in Nihonga at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts. In the following year, 2008, he completed the Aichi Prefectural University of Arts graduate school training course. In 2011, he presented works at "ART TAIPEI 2011" held in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2012, he exhibited works at "NEW CITY ART FAIR NEW YORK" held in New York. In 2013, he entered his work in the 1st Ohka-sho, Annual Sakura Exhibition held at Sato Sakura Art Museum in Tokyo. He is currently a part-time lecturer at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts
